cayu.sessions.TranscriptSnapshot
Part of cayu.sessions.base. Read the Python API overview and install the required extra.
from cayu.sessions import TranscriptSnapshotRetained transcript records plus the permanent append cursor.

validate_record_order (method)

Section titled “retained_position (method)”TranscriptSnapshot.retained_position(cursor: int) -> intMap an exact absolute cursor to this snapshot’s retained positions.
A removed cursor raises ValueError, even if later records survive.
The snapshot’s append cursor maps to the end, including empty retention.
Unlike load_transcript_window, this does not skip missing history.
