cayu.external_wait_scheduler
Public Cayu API. Definitions are grouped by their public source module, and definitions from private implementation modules appear on their package’s page; adding a symbol does not move existing links. The import shown at each entry is a supported public namespace. Read the Python API overview and install the required extra.
TaskStoreWaitScheduler
Section titled “TaskStoreWaitScheduler”from cayu import TaskStoreWaitSchedulerAn explicitly driven adapter, not a worker or a second outcome clock.
A hint can be delivered early or late. The wait store alone elects timeout; the host’s bounded discovery remains the fallback if clocks differ or a notification is lost. Neither task input nor its lease grants execution.
init (method)
Section titled “init (method)”TaskStoreWaitScheduler.__init__(*, waits: ExternalEventWaits, task_store: TaskStore, scheduler_id: str)schedule (method)
Section titled “schedule (method)”async TaskStoreWaitScheduler.schedule(registration: ExternalWaitRegistration, *, context: ExternalWaitContext) -> ExternalWaitTimer | Nonereconcile (method)
Section titled “reconcile (method)”async TaskStoreWaitScheduler.reconcile(*, scope: ExternalWaitScope, source: str, context: ExternalWaitContext, after: str='', limit: int=32) -> tuple[ExternalWaitTimer, ...]Reconstruct pending scheduling intent with bounded, caller-driven discovery.
notify (method)
Section titled “notify (method)”async TaskStoreWaitScheduler.notify(timer: ExternalWaitTimer, *, context: ExternalWaitContext) -> ExternalWaitSnapshot | NoneObserve the owner clock; return None only for an authenticated obsolete hint.
worker_handler (method)
Section titled “worker_handler (method)”TaskStoreWaitScheduler.worker_handler(*, context: ExternalWaitContext)Compose with run_task_worker; construction never starts a worker.
